Stop the Slander Against the Jewish People

This weekend Jews around the world will celebrate the holiday of Shavuos commemorating the giving of the Torah.

It is customary to learn Torah insights to enhance our appreciation of the wisdom of Judaism and how it is relevant to our lives.

While Jews are celebrating, unscrupulous missionaries are spreading a damaging conspiracy theory against Jews and Judaism.

Missionaries falsely proclaim the rabbis have intentionally forbidden the reading of a select chapter from the book of Isaiah to prevent us from seeing how it refers to Jesus dying for our sins.

Isaiah 53 has been branded "The Forbidden Chapter," and this slander is confusing Jews and non-Jews worldwide, especially in Israel.

In response, I have written a new article debunking the missionary's claims.

"The Isaiah 53 Conspiracy Debunked" article is already on our Facebook page and website, and the response is very positive.

One person said, "Excellent piece! This is exactly what I needed to hear."

You can download the article at https://jewsforjudaism.org/knowledge/documents/the-isaiah-53-conspiracy-debunked.

A Hebrew version of this article will be posted soon on the Hebrew area of our website as a resource for Israelis who are being targeted for conversion.

Shavuos is an auspicious time to learn the lessons contained in this article and strengthen your faith in Judaism. Please help spread the message by sharing the link with your friends and family.

Happy Shavuos and Shabbat Shalom,

Rabbi Bentzion Kravitz
