Please Support Jews for Judaism Now!

Rosh Hashanah 5785 / 2024

Shalom,

We are approaching the Jewish New Year, an appropriate time to reflect on the tragic loss of life in Israel and the widespread growth of anti-Semitism.

These events are painful and traumatic. Nevertheless, our New Year’s resolution must include redoubling our efforts to fight for the survival of the Jewish people and Judaism.

I recently hosted an Israeli soldier who fought terrorists on October 7 and fought in Gaza for nine months. During his stay in our home, we also discussed the work of Jews for Judaism to defend the Jewish people spiritually.

He told me that missionaries recently held a conference in Tel Aviv to strategize ways to convert Israeli Jews to Christianity. According to reports, at the end of the conference, dozens of young Israelis were baptized at a nearby beach.

To make matters worse, Jews for Jesus operates in Israel with 60 staff members, many of whom are native Israelis. Jews for Jesus is so active, the Jerusalem Post recently published an article about their activities.

Jews for Jesus, as well as other well-funded missionary groups, preach the Gospel throughout Israel, including on the streets of Jerusalem, Tel Aviv, Beersheba, and Netanya, and on army bases.

To further their reach, missionaries flood social media with testimonials of Israelis and other Jews who have accepted Jesus. They also produce slick videos that deceptively misquote bible passages to seduce Jews into Christianity.

In response, Jews for Judaism launched a Hebrew language page on our highly acclaimed website. Hebrew videos, articles, and booklets are available free of charge to the thousands of people who visit our website each month. We also run ads in Israel to promote our resources.

Before the war, I spent two months in Israel and lectured extensively. One program was attended by 200 young adults, and another by new citizens from all over the world. I also met with several rabbis and shared our specialized counseling techniques.

They introduced to one young woman who was confused by missionary propaganda, and I was able to help her reconnect with her family and Jewish heritage.

The rabbi was patient and answered all my questions. He showed me a side of Judaism I had never experienced before. – Sarah

Currently, we can only help a fraction of Israelis who need our help. Jews for Judaism’s New Year’s resolution is to increase our presence in Israel and thereby immediately double our efforts.

Your resolution to support of Jews for Judaism will make this possible.

Very soon, we will publish a collection of my weekly Spiritual Insights. This 220-page book, titled Know What to Answer, will be published in English and eventually translated into Hebrew. The messages in this book respond to challenges to our faith and they help strengthen Jewish identity.

I look forward to your insights. They are always inspirational. – David

Today, I am requesting your help because the High Holidays are an auspicious time to give charity and receive spiritual blessings for you and your family.

Please partner with us and support Jews for Judaism’s international outreach, with a generous contribution because together we can increase our efforts and help many more people in need of our spiritual guidance.

May you be blessed with good health, happiness, and a sweet New Year.

Thank you and Shanah Tovah,

Rabbi Bentzion Kravitz
