CPR for the Jewish Soul
The Community Prevention and Response Program
The Community Prevention and Response Program
- A new "synagogue" has just opened across from the JCC and
its first program is "the Messiah in the Passover"... - The local church is holding a concert featuring a group called Kol Yerushalalayim..
- The local newspaper runs an article on Chanukah and quotes a "rabbi" extensively. Only he's not a rabbi, he's not even Jewish...
- Some students are hanging around the Hillel, they look Jewish, they talk Jewish but they keep inviting the students to their church ...
- The annual Jewish festival is in full swing and a group of people in T-shirts with "Jesus Made Me Kosher" on them are handing out pamphlets in Russian, Hebrew and English...
How should your community respond?
If you ignore them, will they go away?
If you talk about them, will you give them more publicity?
Jews for Judaism's Community Prevention and Response(CPR) Program has been developed to effectively alert your community to and safeguard it from the growing threat of deceptive missionaries. Our experienced staff works with your community's professional and lay leaders utilizing seminars, working groups, text studies and professional training sessions to prepare a cadre of people to successfully counter the missionary agenda.
Special curricular and response materials have been created to help inform and innoculate community members to enable them to respond to missionary tactics when they are confronted.
Among the counter-missionary materials included are press packets, suggested community legal guidelines and a series of articles and brochures.
Jews for Judaism, the only full-time international counter-missionary and counter-cult organization working in the Jewish community, has over 20 years of experience in communal and individual response to the threat posed by deceptive missionary and cult groups.
